& by eliminating divisions, you're going to need numerous tie-breakers to determine who is better than who with little-to-no common opponents. Divisions/pods lets you compare numerous teams because of those opponents.

& my 4x4 pod format lets you play everybody in 3 years (H/A in 6...& keeps those "must play" games withOUT having to sacrifice any) while letting anybody make it to the SECCG. The same 2 teams could only make it to Game 13 every 3rd year.
