XFL unveils 8 team cities, stadiums, says games will be cheaper, fast-paced
-New York
-Dallas
-Houston
-Los Angeles
-St. Louis
-Seattle
-Tampa Bay
-Washington, D.C.
Play will start in early 2020 and seasons will run during the NFL's offseason.
Vince promised absolutely no political or social issues, talked about desire for really good football.
Spokesman in the video interview talked about shortening the game, shorter or fewer timeouts, potentially no TV timeouts or halftime. Talked about ads shifting from commercial breaks to possibly picture in picture or other options.
Can't wait, I'm so sick of the NFL.

All true, but I think the AAF has a chance to survive. The XFL going to NFL cities was dumb.

Would that help sustain it?
Then again never mind it will still fold.
Both will and will be an awful product.
I guess it will help my football fix post superbowl, but I feel like too much football can dilute the product. Feb is time for the NBA season and then you get into MLB during the summer.

Eh, only sport I tend to watch outside of NCAA football/basketball is the occasional NASCAR or formula one race. More football ain't necessarily a bad thing. I quit watching the nfl because the players don't seem to care as much as in college

Vince McMahon is, and always has been, a wrestling promoter who is embarrassed to be a wrestling promoter. Its why he keeps insisting that the WWF/WWWF/WWE is an entertainment company.
Unfortunately for Vince he's not good at anything but being a wrestling promoter. World Bodybuilding Federation? Lost a ton of money and collapsed. XFL? Lost a ton of money and collapsed. WWE restaurants? Lost a ton of money and closed.
The only "success" he's had is super low budget movies starring WWE wrestlers. Even those don't make money and mostly serve as a way for his wrestlers to polish their acting skills before they leave the WWE for Hollywood.
When it comes to wrestling and anything related to it... yeah, he has the Midas Touch. Anything else its just a matter of how much money he will lose before his family convinces him to give it up.

ya I watch NCAA Basketball but mostly just March.
And we stink so will not be paying much attention to us.
Don't watch nascar at all, and grew up in charlotte, no idea how anyone watches that shite (it's mostly my dad and his brothers)
braves getting better will def make the summer more enjoyable.

Ive never really watched it for the driving. Always for the fights.
One of last ones I watched, one of the drivers tried to sucker punch the other one, missed, and got beaten pretty good before they got them broken apart

Hockey is fun, fast paced. Nascar 8s dying because it was huge with older folks who are dying off, and younger people see it as driving in a circle for 4 hours, which is 99% boring.

I've slowed my watching since Jeff Gordon retired. No one to root for now really.
Races are pretty boring but the fights can be a nice payoff, especially if you just turn the race on at the end

Gimme some PGA tour spring and summer and I'm happy. Fall is for college football. Winter mostly the NFL playoffs. Some basketball early spring (college).

I got super in to the WWE thanks to AFN for a couple of years. shite was actually super entertaining. Screw you guys saying it’s not real. CM Punk is my hero
