Because they went to the game to have a good time. Some folks don't let a little thing like losing a football game bring them down.

Plus those kids were like 11 the last time L8U actually won that game. They don't expect much else.

They were expected to lose anyway. I mean, a 2 TD dog. Y'all can take it from a Vandy fan -- when you're losing and you expected to lose, it's easy to have fun at a football game without the weight of dashed expectations hovering over you.
This is similar to why, in my callow youth, I attended more SEC games not involving my team than ones that did. Football games are just plain fun. I think everyone should attend a couple games a season where you don't care who wins. You'll realize how to truly enjoy a game. I haven't done the full tour because this was before TAMU and Missouri, but I plan to do those at some point eventually too.

Thank you Baby Jesus for saying this! I’m a 51 year old man. I spent lots on two tickets and drove with my 21 year old son to the game from augusta Georgia. I had a good time! I can’t control what goes on down on the field of play. Bama dominated but LSU dominated the party all day long! Great times.
If you can’t have fun unless your team wins then don’t show up for any tough games. Me? I’m there to enjoy it win lose at draw!
