Dude youre flip flopping all over the place. Youre just trying to play devils advocate any which way.

Fornette and McCaffrey LOVE their schools. Fornette still gives to LSU, and grew up down there. There is a huge difference in competing in a bowl game that will not give you anything for your team at all on your third year, especially if you have a history of injuries, vs going to your rival and watching their game vs. watching your own.

If you can't see that then I'm done with this argument. Loyalty to your team in football is massively more prevalent. They have the "We're going to war with each other" mentality and "being in the trenches" together.

Not flip flopping just not what I meant at first.

Ill sum it up like this.

Kids now days rather come out as a first round draft pick or draft pick in general than win the SEC or win a national title.

Im sticking to that and I think it's still true, but couldn't be said the same as it was years ago.
