Also because she wasn't the one driving the car and seemed genuinely shocked and dismayed when it became clear he was actually trying to run them over. 100% she thought he was just going to buzz them and scare the shite out of them.
Besides, she witnessed a crime and cooperated with the police. What could they have charged her with?
She does need to choose her friends more wisely though. That dude is a POS and doesn't reflect we on her judgment of character

I read up on the case and just realize that that kid survived. How in the world did that kid survive? Thank God he did but that is a freaking miracle

heh, I doubt she will follow that good advice. She like the "bad boys". I don't see her changing in the foreseeable future -- maybe when she's 40 years old.
