it sounds to me like he’s contributing to a defense that needed some support in the secondary
We were able to come back and win Sunday because of the defense in the 4th and Reid’s play was a big factor in that

He also almost lost the game for the Panthers by biting on the QB look-off and vacating his deep over-the-top coverage resulting in Bradberry having to commit a 55-yd PI penalty just to prevent a TD. Reid was 4-yards BEHIND that play trying to catch up (Narrator: He didn't.) as the deep safety.
