If White was guilty of targeting, then the Gump player who knocked out the Tennessee QB was DEFINITELY guilty of it. Player safety and all that.

We have been over this. The reason why no flag was thrown against Wilson and the SEC office didn't call up to Knoxville for a review of Wilson's hit is because Wilson actually used proper form when he hit the Tennessee QB. He wrapped up with his arms and planted his helmet firmly against the QB's chest. There's going to be a little helmet to helmet contact with a hit like that but it's nothing flagrant.

White did not wrap up. Had he done so, no flag would have ever been thrown.
