The last time I witnessed fans turning on their QB who led them to the MNC game was with LSU fans on Jordan Jefferson

There is a saying in football: The most famous/loved/supported QB is the backup

Perhaps UGA fans just perhaps Field isn’t really ready. And by that it means, sure he can throw and run. BUT does he give you the BEST chance to win?

What if Field for all his touted greatness, can’t read the D? He wouldn’t be the first blue chip that was discovered to have some challenges when they got to the big leagues .

This may all be well and true but it doesn't explain the confusing pattern of only putting him in one play at a time. Why put him in at all? What's wrong with getting crazy and running a few hurry-up plays with him, doing the option run jazz?

Nope. One play he is in, (he has handed the ball off all but once), then he's back out for another ten minutes.

None of it makes any sense.
