Maybe so. But in that case, he's still wrong.
I have zero sources or inside information. I think CrimsonBoz has one or more, and in this case they were wrong or mistaken. It happens. Heck, in my job I've shared company-related news based on something our CEO said, and then later he changed his mind or clarified his comments and I realized what I'd shared was incorrect. And that's stuff coming straight from the horse's mouth.

Even if CrimsonBoz doesn't have any sources at all, though, I don't get the animosity toward him by some. What difference can it make to folks?

Yep. I don't get the mentality of bashing someone who's willing to share things they hear 1st or 2nd hand from "inside" sources just because the info they get and share occasionally turns out to have been innaccurate.

It's like they want to harrass them to the point that they won't share information anymore. Over the years, I've seen those kinds of posters succeed in running off and/or quieting "insiders" before. It's really stupid.

Each time "inside" info gets passed along it's subject to being misinterpreted and/or reworded to some degree. People should always take "inside info" with a grain of salt instead of overreacting one way or another about it.

The people who sit around with their dicks in their hands waiting for someone to be wrong, somehow think they are in the right here. I don't understand it. He brings info and whether you want to believe it or not is up to you but stop bashing the guy. He isn't hurting any of you
