I did not know Auburn, was at one time, known as the Alabama Aggies.

If you're headed there, drive the speed limit thru campus. Campus police have nothing better to do than sit and radar all day.

Their mailing address is Normal, AL. It is really in the northern part of the city of Huntsville, which more or less grew around it during a boom from the Apollo programs during the 60's.

I have been to several aAm games and it is different. The stadium is mostly empty at kickoff and gradually fills up around halftime, then slowly empties out in the third quarter. It is one of those schools where the band is more popular than the football team.

Normal, AL which in its entirety lies within the city limits of Huntsville. You may be stabbed. It's very ghetto.

Nah, all the breweries are SW Huntsville or Central. There are some sketchy hoods around them, but we're currently "gentrifying" those areas.

Pretty cool how the school got turned into a brewery

Maybe true for a redneck from No Hope, but not for normal people.

In Huntsville, North side, just east of Hwy 431. As noted above, the campus is entirely within the HSV city limits but their zip code is called Normal, AL. That's a holdover from the 1800s or so.
FWIW, the satidum is called Louis Crews Stadium and it seats about 21k - the home side seats about 14k, and the visitors side about 7k. It was built in 1996, and has been used for both football and soccer in the past. The surface is field turf and not grass. It is designed to be able to be expanded in the future but A&M has rarely pushed capacity. As someone else noted, the band is usually more popular than the football team.
The city of Huntsville has a contract with Alabama A&M to use the stadium for some high school football games. Crews, along with Milton Frank Stadium, are the two primary high school football venues for the Huntsville school system.

My younger brother played there as a freshman. Long story how he got there. One of two white kids on the team. No racial issues at all, has always told me he enjoyed his time there. Could be because he was 6’6”and around 370.

My cousin was their radio play by play guy for a few years. He went to A&M on a minority schollie as a white boy. He never had any issues. He did say it was ridiculously easy, though.
And whoever said Huntsville is gentrifying the area is wrong. Downtown area, sure. But none of that is going on near A&M.

This is so not true. You are much more likely to get shot than stabbed.
edit This is joke, I have worked on the aamu campus many times and like I said in a previous post, been to several games. Now I can't speak for what happens at night, but I can say in my experience I have never witnessed any crimes other than kids smoking blunts.
