Uniforms are a problem.

The oval Tiger is just not going to cut it.

Too small, not really visible on TV. Looks awkward when it's flipped on the left-side.

Uniforms are a bad synergy of new and old school concepts - basketball did an excellent job of blending properly.

I get it, outfits are for the woman to worry about.

The season is here and uniform-talk is for another time.

But this is a major-major element of branding and program identity and we are truly getting a D in it.

We need a helmet that fits now and will be something we use for the next 20+ years - (we will continue to use alt-helmets as well since we are not a blue blood).

This must be driven by the fans since the university can't figure this out.

We deserve an iconic helmet. The oval Tiger is not.

White Tiger paw with a black block M in it on black helmets?

We can do so much better with the uniform template too.

/pointless thread.

Interesting that tRant logo for us is really what our helmet logo should be.

The answer has been here all along.

I don't like the oval tiger either. I do like the large print Tiger helmets but more as an alternate. The M I can take or leave.

Think, what's unique to Mizzou? It's not the Tiger. Plenty of those. It's not the M. Right or wrong that is associated with Michigan. It's the word Mizzou itself. Find a way to incorporate that into the helmet and I think you'd have something that stood out.

Yeah, same thoughts on the name Mizzou which is a great branding name and we're really lucky to have it.

I've thought about MIZ on one side of the helmet and ZOU on the other with the tiger paw or tiger head below it but that would be exactly like LSU.
