Holy shite, I'm looking forward to rolling up 50+ against Mizzou again as soon as possible.

Let's go with tiers as it stands today based on performance.

Tier One: These teams are currently at, or within, striking distance of elite. One or two is likely to fall down to Tier Two as the season progresses. I see two possible CFP berths here, definitely one (duh).
Bama
UGA
AU
LSU*

Tier Two: These teams are very good, and will create issues for some Tier One teams. Definite possibilities of replacing a team or two in Tier One. Any of these teams could definitely make a push for the CFP.
USC*
State
UF
A&M

Tier Three: These teams are either on the cusp, or generally an unknown. Same as Tier Two compared to Tier One: some of these teams could create problems for Tier Two, and certainly move up. Little chance any of these move up to Tier One.
Ole Miss*
Mizzou
Arkansas
Kentucky
Vanderbilt

Tier Four: This tier needs to shutdown football operations and turn its stadium into a bird sanctuary after sending apologies to every other SEC school for ruining an otherwise perfect opening weekend. This is the rock bottom of college football.
Tennessee

Note: * means these were hard to place. LSU and USC should both probably be in a Tier 1.5. Neither one fits perfectly in either Tier 1 or Tier 2. Ole Miss could easily move up to Tier 2 with that Offense.

Why do you think anyone cares what an alter says?

I’m not willing to put LSU in top teirs yet. That Miami team was atrocious. Let’s see how they play against AU

So if LSU wins that game, is LSU and Auburn going to be in the top group or will Auburn automatically be shite?

No.. LSU will be legit in my book if the beat AU. all I’m saying is Miami isn’t a great team. Although LSU played well, I’m ready to see them play an AU team that beat a very good Washington team

Georgia is automatically put into the feared category by some due to all those recruits that aren't even there yet. Circle jerk indeed. They had a garbage schedule last season that allowed for plenty of healthy rest, and it's mostly the same this time around. A stretch of MTSU, Missouri, UT, Vandy, and it's so perfectly laid out after that. Life is good in the East if your program has a pulse. But when will they actually earn anything?

This. This right here.

It’s completely different game, when you are only challenged once or twice a year towards the end of season. We have seen this from plenty of Big12 and ACC teams over the years too.
