First off, this is a genuinely interesting post, so kudos to OP.
So he wasn't on a head set and Saban was telling the truth?
I don't understand why signal stealing is supposed to be a bad thing in any sport. I hope we're working to steal signals. If you don't want other teams to predict your plays then disguise/switch up your signals better.

I very much agree with this. In baseball trying to steal the catchers signs to the pitcher is expected.
