If these are accurate, and we must assume that they are, then our weight training and nutrition program is paying-off big time. Some of these are incredible. Arkansas poster Feral begins frothing at the mouth whenever you bring up footage of a lighter NFL Alex Collins running away from NFL talent compared to a much beefier Alex Collins being chased down on a great many plays by college, not just SEC, talent.

Also... Arkansas ran out of gas in every game we played against a non FCS team for years. It cost us some games. We used to dread the 4th quarter because we knew we had absolutely nothing in the gas tank.

Its fine to be big. In some cases its wonderful to be big. But you must be fast and you must be in shape. The days of being big and just waddling over opponents is gone. Its like the days where there wasn't a forward pass.

I'd like to see some new 40 times and obviously how y'all play with an increased tempo once the season starts but this looks like a leaner and meaner USC team.

Hank Manos will definitely keep putting weight on. Coming from wrestling it takes you a few years to stabilize your weight. I know this first hand. He had to stay under 285 and then bulk up to around 300 for football and it's a constant starve yourself/eat a ton cycle. I played football at 215-220 as an option QB, wrestled 195. It's a part of it. I stayed slimmed down after wrestling because I played soccer and tennis and that kept me leaner.
