re: Even if Saban retires, will Bama ever slow down?

There's no reason for Bama (much like USC, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Texas, and a few other programs) to not be a national power unless they shoot themselves in the foot. Bama's good ol boy administrations in the past really liked shooting themselves in the foot. Pretty much all of those guys are out of the way. Hopefully the same mistakes won't be made in the future.
