I am not so sure: A kid exchanges his amateur eligibility for a scholarship and everything that entails. He has four years.
The rule, as I quoted clearly says as long as a kid has time left on his 5 year clock, and has graduated he can transfer anywhere he wants. The SEC stepped in and made another ruling, but it was then waived by the SEC.
At that point, Mo Smith should have been able to transfer anywhere he chose per NCAA rules.
You can't say one thing, then when called on it turn around and say you didn't say it.
