re: Today is the 20th anniversary of the F5 tornado that hit Oak Grove High School

Hard to believe it’s been 20 yrs. I remember that being one of the scariest events ever,even though I lived in Houston at the time. I had a lot of family that lived in Rock Creek and the surrounding areas and there was no way to get in touch with them to find out if they were ok. I visited family in Rock Creek about a year later and it was an eerie feeling seeing all the damage and not recognizing a lot of the area where I lived as a kid.
