I never felt threatened there. However, there are a lot of desolate areas a stones throw away.
That said, top to bottom, Nashville is such a better place to host. They need to be done with the St Louis experiment after this year. There is nothing it offers that is better than Nashville.

Nashville is the best place to host it. Nashville's downtown area is perfect for sporting events.
