We go once or twice a year - I love St Louis.
I’ve never been even remotely anxious in the downtown area- that’s where the tourney is, right?
In fact, the only time I’ve ever been a little nervous was when we were almost out of gas and had to stop at a station in E St Louis that ended up being an obvious drug and prostitution place since there were chains on all the pumps but the place was packed and ho looking women at peoples car doors.
Once we left that parking lot it was all good.

Little pioneer had a field trip to St. Louis a couple of years ago from Batesville. Took a chartered bus with bathroom and wifi.
Kids have no idea how good they have it made now days.
