It was automatic and some of the same crap spouted back then..we don't belong..we're a shite school from a shite state..we will never be able to compete..yankees..etc. I remeber thinking " what the hell did we ever do to these people"? Now it just rolls off me and I just laugh and shake my head. Sjw bs, yeah I'm there with ya, it was an embarrassement to most fans and steps have been taken. We really aren't some far left yankee state, hell I'm a rock solid conservative as most of my friends and people I know are. As far as the division we ended up in, of course we had no control over that and it was done to keep other schools happy. We were cool wherever they put us we wanted out of the Big 12 and away from Texas that bad. I can only speak for myself, but I kinda like the rivalry brewing with Scar. It wasn't really expected which is usually the best kind
