Coleman did not take care of the ball. All he ever did was drive to the bucket and kick it out to the opposing team. He never shot above 30% here.

I don't think he's any better than AJ. I couldn't care less what his stats at Samford are.

You can shite on the FG% all day, but in his last year he had a far better AST/TO ratio than anybody on this team. Not sure what you're remembering.

The point is, Coleman didn't just come in and dribble the ball arse-backwards and burn up the entire shot clock when the ball was in his hands. And sadly I almost prefer when he does that, because whenever Junior tries to do anything with the ball he either puts up a wild shot or turns over the ball in a very untimely manner. Coleman was also someone that could always get open and close out a game from the FT line. Give me Coleman every day of the week.

Not to mention, we played an AWFUL pace for Coleman's game. I wouldn't say we're run and gun, but this pace would've fit Coleman's game a hell of a lot better.

Congrats to Coach Avery and the Bama BB Team. That was a BFD.

One thing I did like about Coleman was his ball handling. He didn't have any trouble pushing the ball upcourt. Only thing was with his size, he really wasn't physical enough to finish at the rim, and he really never drew much contact. He'd always have his shot blocked; or like TomRTR said, he'd just have to kick it out.

I do miss his FT shooting.

I do agree that this pace would suit Coleman better, and he was good from the line. Do we even know if Avery forced him out though? Maybe he wanted to start, and there's no way he would've started on this team.
