Coleman did not take care of the ball. All he ever did was drive to the bucket and kick it out to the opposing team. He never shot above 30% here.

I don't think he's any better than AJ. I couldn't care less what his stats at Samford are.

Regardless of if we had Coleman, my move would be the same.

PG- Sexton
SG- Ingram

Rotate Petty for one of them at a time to keep both fresh, and if needed put Herbert out there.

There's only 80 minutes to go around at the backcourt spots, so have Sexton and Ingram play for 30 and Petty for 20 + 5/10 at the 3.

You can shite on the FG% all day, but in his last year he had a far better AST/TO ratio than anybody on this team. Not sure what you're remembering.

The point is, Coleman didn't just come in and dribble the ball arse-backwards and burn up the entire shot clock when the ball was in his hands. And sadly I almost prefer when he does that, because whenever Junior tries to do anything with the ball he either puts up a wild shot or turns over the ball in a very untimely manner. Coleman was also someone that could always get open and close out a game from the FT line. Give me Coleman every day of the week.

Not to mention, we played an AWFUL pace for Coleman's game. I wouldn't say we're run and gun, but this pace would've fit Coleman's game a hell of a lot better.

Ingram is not a SG. He's a PG that they've had to move because of Sexton's ability. Petty is really the only SG on the roster.

And Petty is not a PG. He actually has pretty bad ball handling skills for a guard. Sexton, Ingram, and Johnson are the only ball handlers getting playing time.

I think our guard rotations have been fine since Key came back. The frontline is still in flux, even moreso now with Hall injured. I do think Smith has been impressive and deserves more PT over Giddens.
