I though JC said enough, kept it brief but accurate, in this piece: LINK

Werner can make a big impact on our program.

So, I've been thinking about this and have come to the conclusion, based upon our last five or six seasons, that we'll know when we've arrived as an offense when we have a viable backup QB that gets some playing time during the regular season.

When was the last time we had that? Connor Shaw's tenur ... with Dylan Thompson? Before that Garcia had Shaw.

It's been awhile.

I think, with a proper OC coach, that you put up huge numbers this year. We may see some read option looks with your back up QB throughout the season.

Right now South Carolina has all the tools to put up a monstrous offense. Will your new OC put you in a position to do so?

I say yes. He has two or so brain fart games a season (God bless Ole Miss for easing the pain of the Bert years) but USC lands in the top 4 in the conference for offense.

I hope you're right Sulli. We should be solid, much better depth and experience, better developed physically. It's gonna all come down to some creative play-calling and execution.
