It is a NCAA rule that they will have to sit a year unless the NCAA grants the waiver to the players. Mars was hired by players to try and get the NCAA to give them a waiver, not Ole Miss. Not sure if you understand how any of that works...



Appreciate the response. Seems to me the waivers should come with the transfer requests in this specific case or else it's just a gigantic waste of time since Mars will get it for them anyways but I guess they have to follow the steps though.

If players only have to say that they were misled in order to get the waiver, then everyone will be in trouble once the precedent is set.
