i was fine with woodson winning. He had an amazing season with some hilight plays (one that won them the natty also). Peyton also had an amazing season but only one can win and the agenda was pushing a defensive player to win that year and he did. There have been far worse screwed in the flawed heisman such as larry fitzgerald.

Yeah no. Larry Fitzgerald was non-existent in the 2003 game against Miami. His stats for the game were not Heisman worthy.

Meanwhile, Jason White, despite a blowout loss to Kansas State, still threw for Heisman yardage.

White was gimpy due to injuries in 2001 and 2002, and still had a stellar campaign.
