Jimbo had a "Double Secret Probation" deal with LSU to become the head football coach towards the end of the 2015 season.

Remember when the LSU "Delicate Genius's" decided at half-time of the Texas A8M game to keep Miles on for another season? Well, that game didn't decide his (Miles) fate.

Alleva/TAF had reached an agreement with Fisher in the neighborhood of 6M a year to coach the Tigers, then TWO things happened that destroyed the deal.

#1.) LSU President F. King Alexander balked at paying 6M to a football coach when LSU was right in the middle of all that "Budget Crisis" BS. Wouldn't look good in the public eye in his opinion. (LSU Alums and fans were )

#2.) Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal went to back for Les Miles and convinced the LSU Brass to give him one more shot in 2016. They did.

Like it or not, believe it or not, that's what went down.

Jimbo was signed, sealed and delivered to LSU, but the freaking University President nixed the deal. (My super spicy sauces are very high up the pecking order of LSU Power Brokers too)

Most of this story has been reported in some form or fashion already too, but most on here are not deep enough in the LSU Loop to have seen it or even believe the validity of it. It's valid.

After Miles was fired and Orgeron took over as Interim in 2016, Fisher/Sexton were contacted agin but had since raised their prices and were out of line for what LSU was willing to pay. (We're talking significantly more than the Saban contract at Alabama)

He's slightly damaged goods now and will come at a much cheaper price than he and Sexton wanted in both 2015 and 2016.

Just thought this needed to be said, because all the anti-LSU VGT's (Virgin Geek Trolls) are gearing up to have a field day if and when Fisher signs on with A8M...........
