I agree that Pearl staying quiet is best for him. I just hate that it is front page news on ESPN. His reputation combined with this doesn't speak well for his claimed innocence.
Sidenote: This story came from Schlabaugh, so it could all be complete BS. And it is the kind of story that AU is not going to refute whether true or false due to the ongoing investigation. Schlabaugh made headlines and the school's best interest is not to comment or refute, he wins regardless of validity.
