Edited just for you, but point remains. This OL is not dominant relative to past Bama teams. This team will go only as far as the OL takes them.

Against stronger Ds, they will have to play both roles well to provide options. One player, not to the extent of Chris Capps, has been a liability. They have been inconsistent all year and haven't transitioned well from run to pass blocking. Which, may end up a good thing if rolling out the QB makes Hurts improve in accuracy vs keeping him in a deteroriating pocket where he either runs or has not been as effective passing. Maybe, like the Sundance Kid, he has to move to shoot more accurately.

Overall, OL is good. But, it is one of the major weak spots of the team when looking to compare them to other dominant UA teams.
