I will admit that the only downside of rooting for an extremely successful team is when experiencing a loss because it's become so foreign and seems more painful; you are plagued with the lingering feeling for a while that your team could or should've won it had something been executed differently, but, with that being said, those games are far and few between, and I wouldn't exchange that for being average or below average. That logic doesn't even make sense to me. The last championship game I actually took the outcome better than I expected, though. Losing is apart of the game, and you can't always win, plus it makes you motivated and hungry and to want to see more success. It still gnaws at me from time to time, not gonna lie, but like I said, it makes me really want to get to the playoffs and win another title.
