Why Does Mac Get Cute with Kadarius Toney?

I thought LSU's line was thin? Why weren't they pounding the RB up the middle all game? I just don't get why they kept trying the Wildcat with Kadarius Toney all game. Did it work? It didn't to me.

Two TDs and 1 FG is inept for this team. I just don't get what Mac and Nuss are doing.
