Eh, sort of. I had to sit in the sideline uppers at Williams Brice once. I left like I was a mile away from the field. You will see what I'm talking about when you get inside Neyland. It's pretty unique how it's built.

Here's a something on YouTube that might give you an idea. This guy is sitting nearly in the back of the sideline uppers but it's still a better view than the uppers at most stadiums.

This. Gen. Bob Neyland was Army Corps of Engineers and designed that stadium. He was awarded some of the highest honors due to his work in WWII and even built a road that was considered 'unbuildable' at the time in India because so many others had failed that's still used to this day. It connected allied troops to needed resources.

He was awarded Knighthood by the British Empire for his service in WWII and IIRC, the third or fourth highest honor the US Army awards despite it being tough as hell for anyone not directing combat ops to get anything close to this amount of recognition.

He knew what he was doing when he designed the steepness and designed it so that the field could be seen by fans. The only downside is that it IS steep enough that walking up and down those stairs can actually be a bit vertigo inducing/scary.
