more like he regressed

there was more motion, end arounds, creativity, & variety (even in WR routes with Adams) in '09 with Todd, McCalleb, Eric Smith, Zachery, & Tate than there have been the past few years

Fanin was second on the team in catches

I’d really like to hear an explanation for this. Especially the jet sweeps. shite is mind boggling. What’s the point of the motion if you never give it?

So much blame on scheme and coaching...the OL doesn't control the line of scrimmage. Hasn't since 2015. Didn't really do it in 2014 in red zone or short yardage. There is no offense that works when the OL can't control the line of scrimmage.

There is a reason why Chip took it on the chin every time he played a decent team at Oregon. His offensive couldn't control the line of scrimmage.

IMO Gus' greatest weakness is the OL and its development. I don't know if he isn't sure of what he wants, can't convince recruits he can get them to the next level with his scheme or his practice routine makes it difficult to develop the attitude necessary to control the line of scrimmage. The more success Steele has with his "changed" practice methods over past DC's the more convinced I am that Gus' practice style is hurting the OL.

i don't understand either

i think we ran like two against Clemson and they went for like 5 & 6 yards each. that's a solid gain that opens up the middle of the field and would help neutralize their DL

eli stove has three carries this year
