How did it hurt?
he still was taken #1.
Sure there may have been "2nd guessing" but he still was taken 1st.
I think a lot of one and dones will say that honestly.
I think it's a stupid rule. Let the kids go to the pros.
I think it actually hurts their draft status coming from HS (and after all rankings). More tape on these kids, more time for scouts to see em, and down their stock goes.

Agree on this...either drop the rule or change it to 3 years removed from HS like football and baseball. Baseball would be the better comparison due to immediate eligibility after HS.
