Alabama had 4.3 YPP and FSU had 4.0 YPP. Was the first game of the year and both defenses are elite. Jimbo and Daboll didn't do any favors with play calling either. Both poor play calling efforts.

The very few times the pockets didn't collapse on Jalen he stepped up in the pocket and made some nice throws. When did we ever see him step up in the pocket last year? Never.

Jalen will be all right. The o-line just got whipped in pass protection but Free Shoes is gonna do that to every o-line they face this year.
