The triple option is fun to watch when it works, but it places you in the category as a military school versus a school like Stanford. Since 2000, Stanford has proved that you can consistently win and not use academics as an excuse. I wish we would utilize their model. Regardless, I still have fun cheering for our team and recognize that until Johnson has 3 or 4 losing seasons in a row, he will be our coach.
Even places like Stanford have the typical jock majors to hide players in though that aren't at Tech. Requiring everyone to take Calculus has to be a killer.

Pretty sure Tech has Management and Communications as majors. And they've recruited several of my players who were below average students. If you can play they'll find a way.
