Michigan's defense maybe young but just like us they played a lot of guys and they have an all star staff in Brown, Mattison, and of course JH running the show. They also have their QB back. We got to bring our A game or it'll get ugly fast.

It's not young, it's completely new. They won't have the starters to lean on, and they'll have to actually play the full game.

As for their QB: Del Rio was on his way to a more productive year before being injured, and what are your thoughts on Del Rio? In six games, Del Rio had 1,358 with 8 touchdowns, and that was less than half of a season vs. 2,538 and 18 touchdowns.

6 vs. 15 Games and Del Rio had more yards and more touchdowns. In fact, if you string together Appleby and Del Rio, they have better numbers than Speight.

Their running backs are pretty mediocre, their line is
new and their quarterback is run-of-the-mill, slow with no deep ball.

I think a lot of us are giving way too much credit to Michigan because of the last time we played -- with a completely broken spirit and quarterback with half the time having their foot out the door.

This year, almost our entire offensive line is returning, all of our running backs are returning (the good ones, anyway), the receivers as well. Quarterback may be new, but I have faith in Del Rio if it absolutely must be him, otherwise Zaire or Franks look to be able.

The defense proved it didn't need its starters to shut down and humiliate the same Iowa team that beat Michigan last year -- when they had all of their starters.

My thoughts on LDR is he's a low level fbs or high D-2 kid. He looked good against UK and UMass but terrible in every other game including NTX before he got hurt. As for Michigan's defense did you not see the infograph they are returning a ton of guys on defense except in the secondary, and most of their guys on offense. UF has trouble with power running teams. Add in our young DT rotation and that causes me to be worried. Iowa is irrelevant to now.
