Too hot in the summer for cool weather grass like the northern places use.

Too cold in the winter and no sunlight for warm weather grasses.


Then if you want to put paint down it's even worse. Until northern schools start ponying up for the LED grow rigs... artificial is here to stay.


OOOOR BETTER YET, hybrid. Lost of northern clubs in soccer have moved to this, as well as LED grow lights, some that get games 2x a week all year long:
