I think Auburn matches up very well against Alabama when looking at projected starters. If both teams stay healthy this is going to be a hell of a game particularly because it is at Auburn.
I'd like to hear more from Auburn fans about depth behind these projected starters. I know Alabama has a bunch of very talented 5/4 star guys at virtually every back up spot and actual competition for some of those guys to be starters at some point this year. How is Auburn's depth this year? This is after all the 12th game of the season so most likely we will be talking about quite a few second string guys having to be major contributors and third string guys having to provide in game depth.

Auburn's second string D can start for the vast majority of SEC teams.
OL looks good
WR's appear to be the best group of receivers AU has seen in a few moons. LB depth looks strong. DB is talented with minimal depth. DL depth looks good.
QB depth is good. RB depth is not as strong as I would like, but decent.
Key will be the intangibles like leadership amongst the players, discipline, execution, united as a team, etc.

On the Defensive Line it will be DT- Derrick Brown/Byron Cowart and then Dontavius Russell/Andrew Williams. DE- Marlon Davidson/Nick Coe and Buck- Jeff Holland/Paul James.
LB will be alot of combinations of Tre Williams/Darrell Williams/Deshaun Davis/ Montavious Atkinson.
Those two units imo are two of Auburn's biggest strengths. I am not completely sold on the Offensive Line yet. I know Alabama has a great WR corps, and it's one of the biggest strengths. However it's not as much drop off in Auburn's as people seem to believe. Kyle Davis, NCM, and Eli Stove are all NFL caliber WR's. Then throw in Darius Slayton, Marquis Mcclain, and Ryan Davis and that's a pretty deep group.
