For quite some time Southern Miss actually had more students then the other two.
That has changed quite a bit and now the two SEC schools are comfortably ahead.
I would have given the edge to Ole Miss because they do have a good medical school, but if you look up their wikipedia entry someone made sure to say they were the flagship university of their state.
If you have to say it then it probably isn't true. I call it a draw. Long term Ole Miss might have the edge because they are pouring money into expanding their footprint in Northern Mississippi which should continue to grow as more people move from Memphis to the area.

Flagship means 1st founded public university in the state, people. That's all it means. Zero to do with athletics. Y'alls jr high social studies teachers suck.
