I disagree, I think you should forgot about it as soon as you hit the door. You shouldn't let someone ruined your day for just telling you their opinion. I'm sure if there were other black people in the store and heard that, they were probably embarrassed for her.

Meh, then she will just do it to another white person who innocently does the same thing.

It's no different than what black people did in the 60s to stop racist white people in the South from telling them black people can't sit at the lunch counter.
