Serious question for ya JQ...

Forget about likely hood of ever happening, but do you expect the AD to hire a HC and put together a program with the aim of competing for a NC? Or do you expect the AD and HC to simply put together a program that is fun to watch and hopefully makes some bowl game most years? And not that I'm saying that it happens every other year but at least at some point in my lifetime.

Again, by expect I don't mean that in terms of likelihood. I'm talking in terms of goals/aims that should be set.

For example, I expect Mo to put together a Cardinal team that competes for World Series. I don't expect him to simply put together a team with the aim to only win more than you lose without competing for a World Series.
