I lived in Tuscaloosa from 2008-2011. I thought it had its charms and I generally avoided the ghetto areas and McFarland. Downtown was always nice to visit and hang out in.

Sorry, I live in Fayetteville. Someone explain to me what these are. I constantly hear them referenced by others when describing their SEC college towns.
