Yeah, I wonder how much you know too. You are so myopic in your self serving way of thinking that you have convinced yourself that people actually like being considered racially inferior. That's pretty hopeless.

Myopic? That is a pretty odd word to use. Nor do I think self-serving is accurate.

What gets me though, is this:

Your words not mine. You might want to gaze into the mirror of introspection.

As for increasing the voting power of black people? What does that even mean? If you go by one person, one vote only an increase in numbers does that.

If you are talking about the actual effect on politics, yes you could gerrymander districts to elect politicians that have a "D" by their names. You'd wind up with less elected blacks with a "D" by their name, but more "D's" overall.

But you have to have the State House (and enough votes to sustain a veto if your governor is unfortunately of another party) after a census to do so.

Now let me address something else. Let's say you got to personally redraw all the district maps in Mississippi. You can have as many people from the DNC, whatever, to help. Thing is you get to set districts for the next election.

Then they have the election. Your side wins. Then what?

I'll tell you what. Not much of anything. You'll be able to purge the last Confederate monuments. Go on a witchhunt for those old Confederate tombstones scattered here and there at battle sites (Mississippi got those too?).

You can make Ole Miss an institution righteous in the Eyes of Berkeley for all time (or for a while at any rate).

Then what. Nothing. Sad little thing is there ain't much you can do that isn't being done already. You seem to believe there is some gigantic pool of money being spent on Defense or something by Mississippi. Or taxes aren't high enough.

At that point you realize that other than the odd law or other, you spend most of your time and money on: Prisons, the Highway Department, Education, State Worker's pay, Bond referendums, State Employee Retirement Plans.

And at that point you are going to realize: all your grand plans and dreams, and rhetorical hope... well that isn't going to happen.

You'll pretty much do what all those bad racists were doing already.

And maybe you don't do it as well.

Unless you think any number of large employers paying great wages were just waiting for the last deplorable to be purged, before deciding to make billion dollar investments and employ beaucoup people in Mississippi.
