I wish I could say it's that simple, but it really isn't.

They can't afford to overlook any conference opponent this year. South Carolina now has a QB and should be good on defense. Kentucky will be tough. Missouri has come within one or two plays of being us the last 2 years. State will be much improved.

All of these games are potential traps. After the product we saw on the field last year, the last thing this team should do is take an opponent lightly.

The entire East is really that way - overlooking Vandy could cost someone. Georgia should be the best team in the East, and probably will be, but as you typed ... it's hard to read the East this coming season, because who the heck knows what anyone really has?

I just don't see how there could be a better stable of RBs in the country than what UGA has returning, plus I like UGA's OLine and WRs.

Kentucky is really a conundrum to me.

UF ... we'll know a lot more about what kind of coach and staff they have after this season. Until then, who the heck knows?

UT ... after these past couple of years of chest thumping, watch them be really good this year. If not, Butch is probably in trouble.

Mizzou ... another bunch of question marks.

Vandy will be a tough out.

South Carolina - they have the potential to be very good on offense. Defense is a big question mark. Special teams has to improve KO and punt coverage, KO and punt returns, plus they lost Elliott Fry and their punter ... again, who knows.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Georgia beats UT and Florida then losses to 2 of the other East teams and Auburn.
