And for some reason we lay that all at the feet of our true freshman QB. I still don't know why. I think it has more to do with the offensive game plan but that's just me.

If Dieter could catch a damn cold we would have won that game. He's a senior WR and that's a struggling true freshman QB. He throws a wide open pass for a badly needed first down and dude just drops it.

I'm still mad about that. He catches that ball and we win. Period.

Blaming the freshman QB is low hanging fruit. And when your head coach is a living legend, criticizing the offensive gameplan is indirectly blaming CNS.

Nobody will look at the stats and say "we had a 6ypc average, why did Clemson run the ball more than us?" ... the narrative is "why did Jalen not convert more 3rd downs?" ... as if it was Jalen's choice not to feed our FOUR capable RBs and pound Clemson in submission.
