Da fuq you talking about? Anybody other than UConn winning it is news. And Dawn Staley and the Lady Cocks have been the most consistent thing outside of Storrs, Conn. for several years. They earned it and deserve the praise that goes with it. I don't care if it's in underwater basket weaving, a Natty is a Natty and none of them come easy.

The men deserve kudos for making the Final Four, but that's not quite your goal. It's a great accomplishment but it's not the end of the journey. Hell, I'd take either one for my hoops programs. Gamecocks! You did the league proud.
