more people will remember mens final four participants than womens national champs. When it comes to womens basketball, most casual sports fans just know the sport is dominated by UConn and was by Tennessee before that. I honestly couldn't name off the top of my head another womens champ but I could name plenty of final four mens teams that didn't win the title.
