Hindsight obviously makes it easy to say this was a hire that didn't meet expectations. He is obviously salty and nearly anyone that ended up with that three year record would be, especially when it is their alma mater.
But was he the best hire available or at least comparably available for what we spent? Did anyone really think we were going to get a great coach given the circumstances? I can't be truly mad that this happened if no predictably good, known coaches wanted to coach Mizzou with unknown sanctions pending.
I look at it as he got Mizzou through the wilderness and we can start over now. If we get a great coach now having hired Kim could end up being great long term. We could have been stuck with some average coach not good enough to win anything but good enough to not get fired.
