You know ... last I heard he wanted to transfer somewhere closer to home. Then I heard Coastal was practically begging him to come there - he was even spotted on campus taking a tour. Then I heard Rick was trying to lure him up to MTSU.

His problem is wanting a guarantee to be a QB when everyone thinks he is a WR.

Something I personally witnessed about Nunez ... he can have a bit of an attitude problem at times. I hesitate to type this, but it's almost like he is two different people at times. Hard to explain. He talks to himself for effect - when certain people are around, so that we hear him. And he's one way in front of the coaches and another way in front of the players in the locker room or boosters in his AO.

So I suspect some of that may be playing a part in what is going-on with Nunez. I sure wish the kid well - he's got physical talent.

Anyways, that's the last I had heard. There may be more current updates somewhere.

I tried to warn you guys about him. He finished out his senior year in high school but he basically quit on his team. Refused to run certain plays and when they were called he would go down before taking much of a hit.

He'll be a good WR when he comes to grips with it.

Well I witnessed it first hand on two different occasions.

The first time was the day Spurrier resigned ... he was a little shite in the worst sort of ways.

Then this past season under Muschamp, I witnessed it first hand again and I though to myself - that's a character issue and he needs to go.

Now, I know Muschamp kept trying to support him but man, after awhile, you just have to cut your losses and say goodbye.

But I can all but guarantee you that word is out on him with the majors and he'll likely either end up somewhere like Coastal or MTSU or he'll fade away never to be heard from again.

Addition by subtraction is a real thing and I'm glad he's gone because sounds like a diva and that type of attitude won't fly with Muschamp under any circumstance

Rooster, I honestly do think the kid can be a great college QB. He has the arm strength and even the thought process of where to throw. He was very raw as a passer, but if he were given a chance to work on pocket presence and the delivery motion, he would be a terror of a QB to face and I'd never want to face him. I remember watching things he did against Mizzou and UCF thinking this kid would be something special. Some of the throws were just amazing and gorgeous. And he could make you miss in a phone booth.

However, if it's just an attitude problem, I'm glad he's not with the team. If it's he wasn't given much of a shot to play QB in Roper's spread, then I feel like the kid did get screwed a bit.

Either way, I would hope he would go to another FBS school. He's too talented to be a FCS/D2 player.
