Georgia's home game against Mississippi State was one of the marquee games of last weekend and the Bulldogs hosted a number of highly rated prospect. Five-star K.J. Henry was in attendance for his first of five official visits. The Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth defensive end went in-depth on how he thought the visit went and released his next official visit.

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"The Georgia visit went well," Henry said. "It was my first official visit and I think they set the bar pretty high. I had a good weekend. When you get a big win like that it certainly stacks in your favor. My family had a great time and I think everything went well. My dad didn't get to make it. I have both my grandpas, my mom, my brother, and my sister with me. I made sure they had a good time and they were well taken care of. They support me in everything that I want to do and they made sure I had a good time too.

"Elijah Holyfield was my host but I ended up hanging out with Justin Fields a lot too," he said. "After the game we talked to the coaches a little bit and then we went downtown to a nice little burger joint. We just hung out for the rest of the night. It was good being with some of the other recruits like Justin.

"I thought Georgia played very well," said Henry. "Last year I thought the thing that was holding Georgia back was their offensive line. They definitely played very well. The overall game, the intensity, and seeing how the crowd was made it a pretty good night. Beating a team like the Mississippi State like that, you have to give them a lot of props. I’ve watched Bellamy and Lorenzo go at it a lot in the past. I was there to just watch the game. I'm very aware of what they're capable of.

"My next visit will be to Virginia Tech for the North Carolina game on October 21st." he said. "That's the only one we have planned right now. I'm not sure if my dad will be able to make it.

"It's looking like my commitment is going to be one of my last days of school," Henry said. "It will be sometime the week of December 17th. I plan on signing and enrolling early."

RIVALS' REACTION

The Bulldogs are in the upper echelon of Henry's top five and continue to hold down one of those spots after this visit. His comfort level in Athens coupled with his relationships with the coaches and players make Georgia a force to be reckoned with him Henry's recruitment. Virginia Tech will get Henry's next official visit and the Hokies, along with Clemson, are one of the teams to beat. All of Henry's top five (Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech) will get official visits and he will release the dates for each one as they are locked in.
